New Years Party Prep

I woke up late, finding that everyone in my family had a big time sleep-in (12.30), so I didn't feel too bad about it ;) I have just showered and gotten slightly ready for New Years Dinner, my dad is making this amazing moose-STEAK baked in a crossiant'ish kind of bread in the oven....OH YEAH!! I also made my cake pops and I think they turned out rather pretty, I will post a pic of them soooooon ;) Hope you are still sleeping sweet in your bed and that you are kept warm and nice <3 The crazy Sävar-people have already started with the fireworks since late last night, and it's frequently sounding like little gunfires outside our house. This is what I'll wear tonight, nothing too fancy:

A day before new years eve

Sooooooo today I had a pretty good dinner at RED ROBIN :D

YUMM :) And I spent a little and got a milkshake too :p

I went out with Henry and Zack and we had the great idea to go to Vegas to see our friend Kyle

for New Years because he has his own place and it would of been awesome!

BUT.. no one else wanted to go but henry and me...

Too bad cause that would of been an awesome new years

And I could still hang with Esteban but it's kind of in a ghetto city haha.

Idk haha maybe it'll actually be fun and I'm overlooking it!

At the same time I kind of want to just not do anything. We will see. haha.

1) Become a writer
2) Move to Scotland

And since lots of parts of the movie was filmed at Oxford university, I am now fully serious in trying to apply for studying there, but then I sorta changed my mind. It seems way to snobbish and pretentious for my taste. Plus I don't have enough score from my high school....ANYWAYS.

I'ma start with reading some Harry Potter books and actually finishing them.

Just finished watching Harry Potter 4 with Tor

And I think that one is definitely one of my favorites out of the 8 movies! It has the perfect mix of everything I like in a good Harry Potter movie; adventure, fun, thrilling moments, romance, mysteries and heartbreaking events. I feel like the other movies are either too dark or a little slow, but this one is great!

Before watching the movie I napped for 2 hours which I really needed. To be honest I tried napping for a shorter period of time but I was literally unable to get up from bed when the alarm went off and I felt totally paralyzed! So I just snoozed until 10.30 and then Tor woke me up to watch the movie :)

Now waits some relaxing (surfing the net) before sleeping again, and hopefully I can get up in time tomorrow and start my day off productively! So much plans before New Years... I wanna try to make cake pop's for New Years which requires some special material which can only be bought in Umeå, and I wanna clean my room and do some creative things.... Hope I can get at least some of that done :)

A Day in Sacramento

Soooo today was a pretty good day--despite all the sitting in the car. 

Supposedly we rode in the car for about 7 hours, but I slept for most of it. 

I got a new jacket today which I'll show in a picture :)

And we ate an a 50's dinner called Mel's Diner in Vacaville(hahah)..

And not much else I guess..

I don't think i'll be able to talk to you tomorrow on skype

even though today was so short. I'm sorry it was so short

I wanted to talk longer too, which is why I decided to leave a blog like you asked for :)

Tomorrow my mom is going to work so I'm just going to follow her around

I finally got a leather jacket! (except i think it's half leather haha)

Christmas In America!

So it's finally Christmas in America :P

But yesterday, I had a big day of Dim Sum and Blackjack. I practiced it for hours and hours haha

I think I improved a little. I had a little vision 

maybe I could do blackjack in Sweden instead of working haha

Of course only if I get good at it. 

I've been hungry tonight! Not sure why..

I got a few gift cards for Christmas so far. I got 3 gift cards: 

one from macy's, el pollo loco, and IHOP.

I'm probably going to use those gift cards for lunch or something when I'm back at school

Today, my mom wants to have a Christmas BBQ or something, so that should be yummy!

I can't wait to eat the yummy foods, and practice blackjack

I feel like I got to get back to Swedish. But practicing blackjack for long hours is

helping me build grit and endurance when I'm working. I like it :)

Anyway I got to get to bed now.

Merry Christmas Baby!

Just came back from church where they had a christmas-play to tell the story of Jesus birth this year, which was a little different and fun :) I also had the time to wrap the gifts for my mum and brothers after church, so a little less to stress about :)

Where we will watch Donald Duck! (My cousin in the back haha)

Now we are getting ready to watch Donald Duck in 30 minutes! Preparing with the Glögg and the ginger bread and candy. Apparently a lot of cousins are gonna be here even though I thought they wouldn't come, so that's exciting!!

After Donald Duck we are going to relax a little and soon after that DINNER!!! :D and after that, GIFTS AND SANTA CLAUSE!! haha ;) I'm excited.

I only wish you were here to celebrate it with me, that'd be the best!!

Idag!

Idag, jag ska till restraugen "Thris-tea". Jag drack en "Honey Green Tea" för middag.

I thought it tasted like your Jasmine Tea! haha.. ;)

I read my harmony book and had my fill of it so I'm not reading it anymore. However I'm probably going to start practicing it.

And I read the 7 Habits book and I'm learning to perform public victories. Meaning victories while working with others. I'm hoping to wake up early tomorrow so I can get my day started and play piano and song write.

I have so much to do all the time x_____x haha I guess it's what happens when you have very long term goals.

I'm planning to exercise tonight a little before I sleep.

Becoming independent is really hard.. haha.

But I'll get the hang of it. :)

This week kind of had a rocky start to productivity but it'll come along ^-^

My day!

Soooo I woke up!

Then got ready to go out for food and we went to that "Lone Hill Cafe" chinese restaurant--the one we thought was overly expensive and had prices of 13 dollar dishes. It was actually pretty good! Then I had work which is always alright.

Then we had a fun usher party and played dodgeball which I did alright in! I felt proud that i took someone out! I figured out how to throw accurately from watching others ^-^

Then we played cards against humanity which is like mix and matching the most awful cards (which included very morbid or unfavorable events of humankind). And I did not do that well. I think it is because everyone was older than me and I did not understand their humor haha..

Then I drove Chris home, because I could tell he wanted to stay longer and he was someone I knew in the party. So out of Christmas spirit I got Chris home and then came home to find lovely posts and pictures from you! :)

I'm missing youuuu and can not wait to skype you! :)

A Golden Star

..for my baby cause you are such a sweet person and wonderful and I really appreciated all your help with my moving!!

Tonight I hung out with my Sävar-friends in Amanda's apartment and we exchanged Secret Santa and just had a fun time! I also had the time to check out the new shopping mall in Umeå city earlier today and it looks real nice I think :) Promising is that they have a chinese fast food buffet!! A little less exciting is that the take-out price is 15 bucks.... but then again I might have a little fun thing to weight up for it! Coming home

A Very Tired Traveler

Cross-eyed. Currently in Helsinki, Finland.

So I've recently been on my first two planes, of which the first one I had to get up at 05.00 am in the morning to catch. Wow. I am barely awake still. But Aksel is working this week as well and his work starts at 6, so he drove me to the airport. Tor wanted me to wake him and say bye so I did, and my dad got up to say bye too. Felt a little sad. But I have lots to look forward to. :)

Now I am sitting at a Starry (yes they do have it) in Helsinki Airport with my standard iced green tea (light iced only) and passing time until my next flight, which is boarding in roughly 2 hours. At least they have wifi!

I heard this song on a tv commercial back home and I love it! It's so full of life and love and energy. Maybe you'll like it too.

My Day!

So we didn't talk today so I thought I'd blog about it :)

     Today I had dim sum with my aunt, cousins, grandma, keith and mom. And after that I went to walmart to buy gum haha ;) and thennnnnn went to eat dinner with my aunt for her birthday with the family keith didn't come this time haha but it was fun. My cousin gave me access to his netflix account chee-cha! haha
     I need to do passport stuff soon, I should get to that tomorrow for sure so I don't have to do it as school starts. Also today Ingrid called me and reminded me about her upcoming show and updated me on applied music stuff. She told me i should take a music class still even though i'm busy with school classes and i'm taking piano but then again I feel like taking a singing class still... hmm I don't know haha.. we will see about that haha.. The more i think about it the more I am like noooooooooo.. maybe i'll do dude rock in the winter haha ;P But i wish i could be in applied and study vocal stuff with her and songwriting stuff oh well. I told her about me going to Sweden, but more indepth in my email about my plans of taking my music career more seriously because it's kind of sitting on the shelf right now metaphorically while I am in school.
     As I said on Facebook, i passed my math test, i just have to say it again since i'm blogging about my day and it's really good news ^_^ I got a 75% percent on my final actually.. ha! and i thought i barely passed, I'm a fool, that just happens to be freaking brilliant hehe ;D funny thing is a 75% only raised my grade by like 2% so maybe me passing was a little harder than i thought too, but i did it!, ahh if i studied a little more i would of got an A for sure! oh well.. haha
    I can't wait till you're back! You're so right on your first blog, it is SO. VERY. SOON! I just want to do nothing til you're back and just pause my life cause no matter what i do there will be nothing as a exciting as the moment I see you in person again <3 I can't wait to spoil you and feel rich with your love. I love you so much! Lets go on adventures as soon as possible! Go crazy together! <3 <3 <3 <3

Run For Your Lives - 5k Zombie Race

Sweden's first Zombie Race will interestingly enough be held in Sävar on Saturday! I only heard about it today and If I will be able to enroll it on Saturday I will definitely do it! I am soooo EXCITED!! I wish you would have been here too, I think you would def. have loved it! It's a 5 k run in the forrest together with your team mates with various obstacles and real zombies on the way! You have 3 red bands that represents lives, and the zombies will try to take them. The team that has the most "lives" at the end of the race (the safe zone) win ! You can enroll and apparently choose if you wanna be zombie or human. The zombies will be made to zombies by professional make-up artists and I can't decide what I wanna be, zombie or human ?

Watch the trailer for it, apparently it's kind of a thing in the U.S ? It's so exciting! Maybe we could do the next one together?

Exhausted

So we are getting in onto the last week of apart-ness and woooh I am feeling really exhausted with everything for right now! There is so much of running, stress and heavy lifting at work and then spending time with family and friends on the evenings... Not much rest for me!

But on another hand I'm excited to come back to my baby :) I'ma hunt you down and kiss you up first thing!!!!!!!! Tonight we are having dinner with my dad, his gf and my brothers and Bushie!

Another fun thing is that when I went to HM with Lykke yesterday I realized I heard Hanson on their store radio with a brand new song! It made me SO excited and proud of them, since they aren't very big here either! I think I'ma download the entire new album tonight and just make sure I can listen to it on the plane back.....

Todayyy!

Soooooooo it turns out I did not do so hot at my last math test,

i got a D. I guess I am a little bit surprised, but i'm going to need to

step it up this week and it should not be much of a big deal, cause I'm a bit

of a math Wiz ahha.. hopefully! But i'll study a little extra this week and make

sure i nail this final :) I'm not far from a C at all so if i pass the final I definitely pass.

In San Jose:

We ate at like a chinese food restaurant and a veitnamese one, supposedly

there is a jazz festival tonight, but they're charging to go in, so i'm not going ahha,

and  we walked around and looked at buildings then i got upset and complained cause

i was bored and then we walked a more interesting street, haha.. My mom just likes to walk

around and i'm picky about where i walk, i felt like i was mopping around idk.. ahha got

edgy haha, but then we saw a more interesting street with more restaurants, stores, and such

and i thought that was neat, I saw the adobe building? like photoshop stuff haha.. uhhh

too a couple pictures but i dont have a usb cable to upload them yet but i'll show you soon haha

and tomorrow I get free breakfast in the hotel which is pretty exciting i think ahha, it starts at 6:30

and i'm sure you know who will be ambitious enough to get breakfast haha ;))

I also wished you were with me the entire time, it would of been much more fun.. i miss youu

and i'm very excited you're coming back soon ^-^

I'm going to do math homework and study a little swedish before i sleep, that's the plan haha..

Soooo I thought I should share some goals I had this week with you :)

I feel like I should be more goal-orientated during my break!

David's Weekly Goals:

-Beginning running or jogging 2 miles continuously 6 times a week

-Finish learning Moonlight Sonata on acoustic guitar(it's an easy version hehe)

-Practice piano scales and songs

-Maybe learn to sing a song a day vocally, lets see how day one goes for that or maybe every two days!

-Write a song or two this week :)

-Finish Swedish Grammar Book

-Wake up at 8 everyday and meditate :o

-Finish math homework before by wednesday!

     -Mini Goals: No negative thinking and call Swedish Embassy ^-^

I think that should keep it simple in the life of David... haha

I'm thinking about going to mt.sac this week to check it out too, i already registered for it, and i'm probably going to talk to a counselor at citrus.. cause i strangely can't apply for either english 099 or 101 right now, it's weird...
